About the quality standards: ISO 9001:2000 is a series of quality management systems standards created by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), a federation of 132 national standards bodies. ISO 9001:2000 addresses an organization’s quality management system requirements, in order to demonstrate its capability to meet customer requirements. By ordering equipment from a company that is ISO 9001 certified, a customer can be assured of excellent quality in a consistent manner. TL 9000 is the
telecommunications industry derivative of ISO 9000. It was developed by
the QuEST (Quality Excellence for Suppliers of Telecommunications) Forum
standards body. This standard harmonizes telecommunications quality management
system (QMS) requirements for the design, development, production, delivery,
installation and maintenance of hardware, software products, and services.
TL9000 is an industry-specific standard designed to promote the use of
best practices in telecommunications, and Telesource is among the few
in its arena to receive certification. Part of maintaining TL9000 certification
is continuously gathering customer feedback for quality improvements.
